The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed an attack on a vital Israeli target in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) early on April 7. The Iraqi resistance said it used drones to attack Israeli assets.

In a statement, the Iran-backed militant group said the attack comes in continuation of its path in resisting the occupation, in support of the people in Gaza, and in response to the Israeli massacres against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

Meanwhile, Iran has confirmed that it will retaliate and hit Israel directly, for an attack on the Iranian consular in Syria.
