Singapore Transport Minister Resigns Amid Corruption Charges

Author: Singapore, one of the least corrupt countries in the world, has been gripped by a graft scandal. Transport Minister S. Iswaran resigned after being charged in a corruption probe that also involves a billionaire hotel tycoon. Singapore's long-ruling party, the People's Action Party, has been hit by a series of scandals. The probe comes as a big blow to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

In a separate letter to the Prime Minister, dated January 17, Iswaran said that he would be returning his salary and MP allowance received since the commencement of the CPIB investigations in July 2023.
“My family and I have decided to return the monies because we cannot in all good conscience benefit from them when I was unable, on account of the investigations, to discharge my duties as a minister and Member of Parliament,” he said, adding that he will not be seeking the return of these if he is acquitted.

Are you thinking of some conspiracy? In Singapore? nay.
If in China, the conspiracies would be flying all over the world. For example, old Emperor x-i (aka x-ee) and empress cixi is continuing with their purge. All threatening royalties have been poisoned or banished up north to the barbarian territory. The dark evil gang of 4 must be destroyed. The highly popular one with lots of war medals and war scars is hard to kill off. He will be “promoted” to take care of the gold mine in the mountains where he will be surrounded by Imperial Guards 24/7. The not too rebellious ones can be investigated and humiliated. If they don’t kowtow fast, further steps have been planned. They will know that their position depends on the Emperor’s grace and trust. The recalcitrant ones will be thoroughly investigated, tortured, sacked and jailed. The path must be cleared for the uncrowned prince. To make it safer, the old sick Emperor has also appointed a reserve regent. The only trouble in the old Emperor’s plan is that the uncrowned prince has no ambition. He plays with his consorts all day. Some are speculating that the plan may actually be for the brilliant and beautiful princess to become the second Empress of China.
